As part of language and cultural immersion while attending Dayton Christian School, international students live with host families for 10 consecutive months. This arrangement fosters a wonderful experience for a student and a host family. The homestay program goes beyond simply offering room and board. It provides a social, spiritual, and cultural experience. DC host families have a direct and long-lasting influence on their international student(s).
Dayton Christian school carefully selects host families and matches them with incoming international students. All families are required to go through the application process which includes, among other things, a home visit and a background check.
