Dayton Christian provides numerous opportunities for those who want to be engaged in our community.
Moms in Prayer is a group of mothers and grandmothers of DC student who meet every Monday morning after the 8:15 am drop-off. The group is dedicated to praying for the school – its staff, faculty, Board of Trustees, administrative leaders and, most importantly, the students. New mothers and grandmothers are welcome at any time. Please contact Stefanie Parry with questions.
Fathers in Prayer meet from 8:00-8:30 am on Monday mornings in Room A110. This time is used to pray over our students, teachers, leaders, and school.

The Dayton Christian Athletic Boosters provide financial and volunteer support for Dayton Christian athletic programs (Grades 7-12). They seek to encourage a closer relationship between the students, parents, coaches, and school administration to promote our athletic programs and help them succeed. Volunteer and membership information can be found on the Athletic Boosters’ website.
The Dayton Christian Fine Arts Boosters are committed to excellence in fine arts education for students at Dayton Christian School by providing volunteer and financial support. For more information, email DC Fine Arts Boosters.
As part of language and cultural immersion while attending Dayton Christian School, international students live with host families for 10 consecutive months. This arrangement fosters a wonderful experience for a student and a host family. Homestay program is a sharing of cultures and not simply a room and board arrangement. Host families have a direct and long-lasting influence on their international student(s).
Please refer to our host family responsibilities and expectations guide sheet to gain a better understanding of this program.
