The Educational Aide (Special Education Support) position has been established for the purpose(s) of working with an individual and/or small groups of students under the supervision of a certified teacher in the supervision and instruction of special needs students in the general education classroom. The Educational Aide will assist the student(s) by modeling the necessary skills to perform assignments; follow educational and specific behavioral plans; and model appropriate behaviors and interactions with students and staff. The Educational Aide will assist the student(s) by adapting classroom materials and activities based on a student’s particular needs. Due to the varied and individual needs of each student, the Educational Aide may provide a variety of support and assistance and should be flexible in adjusting to the needs of the student.
The Education Aide will be responsible for assisting the assigned staff member(s) in all aspects of daily programming, including, but not necessarily limited to social, academic, behavioral, and self-help growth and development. Warrior Position Description:
Dayton Christian School has Mini Camp Counselor openings for the 2025 summer. Seasonal Lead Camp Counselors and Assistant Camp Counselors will support DCS’s summer program for students entering PK, K, and 1st grade.
The PreK Mini Camp runs for ten weeks from May 27 to August 1. We are seeking highly motivated, energetic individuals who are willing to lead and assist children aged 3-7.
Our Mini Camp Counselors lead our students in fun, educational, and weekly thematic activities designed to reinforce and practice the skills they learned during the school year to prevent the "summer slide." Additionally, our Pre-K Mini Camp supports the mission and vision of DCS by instilling, inspiring, and equipping children with godly characteristics.
Full and Part-time positions are available for three different age groups (PRE-K, K, and entering 1st grade).
- Lead Counselors will teach, mentor, and guide students in fun, educational activities according to the weekly themes.
- Assistant Counselors will be responsible for helping prep crafts and activities. They will assist lead counselors in supervising, teaching, and guiding campers in all activities.

Dayton Christian School is seeking Preschool Aides for the 2025-2026 school year.
Our Preschool Aides foster a safe and curious learning environment for preschool students. Working under the oversight of the classroom teacher, the Preschool Aide will assist the students in daily activities. The Preschool Aide will assist the teacher in following the daily educational lesson plan, implementing positive behavior management, helping student’s transition to different activities, and motivating students to complete activities in preparation for kindergarten.
